Cavan Autotrac, the Irish importer of the Indian-built VST compact tractor range, unveiled the latest model to the manufacturer's range at the Ploughing, the Fieldtrac 929 HST. The newcomer features a fully hydrostatic transmission, as opposed to the standard mechanical transmission, which the Co Cavan importer outlines leaves the model ideally suited for work within confined spaces on small farms, landscaping sectors, or equestrian centres.
The new model is equipped with a four-cylinder 24hp engine, which is married up with a four-wheel drive, three-range hydrostatic unit (low, medium and high) that offers a maximum forward speed of 20km/h.
The Fieldtrac 929 model features power steering, oil immersed brakes and a 750kg rear lift capacity. The Fieldtrac 929 model is available with or without a fully enclosed cab. Also present on the Cavan Autotrac stand was the larger 39hp Fieldtrac 939 model. The Fieldtrac 929 HST is priced at €12,950 plus VAT.
