CFMoto debuted its latest generation CForce C4 and C5 ATVs to the Irish public this week. The new generation replaces the existing CForce 450 and 520 models. The new lineup consists of the CForce C4 Agri, CForce C4 and CForce C5.

The C4 is the entry-level model, being the smallest and lightest of the lineup. It is fitted with a new, slimmed-down 409cc engine producing 33hp and 34.5Nm of torque, up from 28hp in the outgoing CForce 450 model.

Riding position has been improved due to a slimmed-down engine and relocated exhaust, reducing the heat around the riders legs.

The new C5 model features a 499cc engine, producing 39hp and 43Nm of torque, up 5hp on the outgoing CForce 520.

A new reverse exhaust layout directs heat away from the rider, while the slimmed-down engine also reduces rider leg width. Gear shifts are also said to be smoother, allowing for more seamless shifting between high, low, neutral and reverse. Suspension travel has been increased to 210mm up front and 235mm at the rear, for improved comfort on rough terrain.

Towing capacity is 612kg, which is close to twice the weight of the C4 model. Meanwhile, stronger cargo racks have been fitted, offering a rated 40kg capacity up front and 80kg on the rear. A 1,134kg winch also comes fitted as standard.

Service intervals have also been pushed out by 25%, which is roughly an increase of 2,000km. The new Agri models feature steel wheels and do not come equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS).
