Tanco is set to showcase a whole host of machines from across its bale wrapper, mower and feed equipment ranges at this year’s Ploughing in Tullamore.

Centre stage on the Tanco stand will be the Autocut butterfly mower combination range. The range is unique in the fact that the rear mowers sit on their own chassis with a steered rear axle, allowing a lighter tractor of just 180hp to power the unit.
The M3 front mower will feature on the stand alongside the larger M10 rear mower. The M3 and M9 mowers have an overall cutting width of 8.9m (30ft), while the M3 and M10 combined cutting width is 9.8m (33ft).
The M9 in the working position places 1,850kg on the lift arms, while the M10 places 1,900kg on the lift arms, notably less than a fully mounted combination.

Gearboxes and drive shafts are all supplied by Comer industries, with all other components designed and built in-house by Tanco. The front ‘pull-type’ M3 mower features hydro-pneumatic suspension and offers a 9.18ft (2.797m) cutting width. Weighing in at 1,200kg, it has a transport width of 9.66ft (2.945m).
From Tanco’s range of bale wrappers, the 1400-V twin-film dispenser trailed and S-200V mounted machines will also feature on the stand.
The S-Series wrapper range is also a satellite machine, available in single, twin and triple plastic dispenser versions and can be operated on either a loader or three-point linkage.

Elsewhere on the stand, Tanco will exhibit its I-60 Cleanafeed root crop washer and feeder bucket alongside the hugely popular I-73 film retaining Bale Shear, I-75 Multi Shear. The i75 Multi Shear is a universal tool for handling both bales and pit silage.
