The review into the events surrounding the cull of 51 cattle on a farm outside Fivemiletown has opened for input from the public.

The external reviewer, Dr Martin Blake, has set up a specific mailbox to receive any information about the planning, decision-making or implementation of the cull.

In a statement, DAERA said that “relevant, verifiable information” should be sent to independent.review2026@gmail.com. The department said the review is expected to be completed by “early autumn” and findings and recommendations from the process will be published “as soon as possible upon completion”.
