In-calf heifer

Lucy sold in-calf to Goulding Packie and boasts multiple 5-star ratings with double the breed average for carcass weight. December 2024 born, she combines an impressive pedigree, sired by Midford 1 Whizzbang PP and out of Gouldingpoll 1 Lancome Lucy, a daughter of the 13,000gns Sky High 1 Lancome Lucy. The Glenvale 1 Fanfare daughter, Goulding Duchess 1530 PP, wasn't far behind at €8,000. Hailing from the famous Duchess line, this October 2024 born heifer sold in-calf to Goulding Packie and according to Matthew Goulding "really is an example of a cow to build a herd on with great width and power balanced by maternal traits." She also heads across the water to England.

Goulding Duchess Beauty ET PP hit the €7,400 mark, selling to a breeder in Co Cork. Just over six-months-old, this young heifer calf combines the best of the Duchess line with the renowned Normanton 1 Laertes. Like many of the high sellers, she packed some big terminal numbers, including a five-star terminal index of €90 and a carcase weight figure of +16.4kg.

Bull calf

Doing the Duchess line proud, selling for €6,900 was the only bull in the sale, Goulding Duchess Legacy ET PP. Spring 2026 born, this young bull calf came with a royal pedigree, out of the breed legend Fabb 1 Northern Star PP and the great Dorepoll 1 R 51 Duchess 525. Purchasing this promising young stud bull was an English buyer.

Also included in the sale was a consignment of semen and embryos. All semen lots sold, with a top price of €210 paid for one straw of Panmure 1 Henry. Embryos achieved a high of €1,050 for one grade A embryo of Gouldingpoll Duchess and Kinglee 1 Hero.
