The West of Ireland Registered Pedigree Suffolk Sheep Breeders Club will host its fifth annual In-Lamb Female Sale at Athenry Mart on the evening of Friday 30 October.
Since its inception, the sale has grown steadily in stature, attracting large crowds, strong demand and consistently high clearance rates.
It is firmly established as one of the leading female sales on the Irish Suffolk calendar, offering breeders an outstanding opportunity to secure elite Suffolk genetics from some of the leading flocks in the west of Ireland.

All females will be veterinary inspected, sire verified and scanned to confirm litter sizes on the evening, allowing purchasers to make informed decisions when selecting their lots.
All service sires will also be genotyped, giving progeny born from purchased females full eligibility to be pedigree registered.
This year’s catalogue features a select offering of in-lamb shearlings and ewe lambs from 20 leading Suffolk breeders across the west of Ireland.
The entries showcase some of the finest genetics available to Irish breeders, with many females in-lamb to previous National Champions and Sires of the Year as well as numerous other high profile breeding rams.

Whether for the aspiring pedigree breeder seeking quality foundation stock or the established breeder looking to introduce fresh genetics, improve performance and build on showring success, this sale presents an excellent opportunity to invest in the future of a flock.
Bidding will be available on the evening both ringside and online via the MartEye app and transport can be arranged to central locations for buyers unable to attend in person.
