Munster Angus Breeders will hold its Autumn Select Sale at Golden Vale Mart, Kilmallock on Saturday 31 October, beginning with a show at 10am and the sale at 1pm.

In only its third year, the group is set to pass a milestone of €1m in pedigree sales to breeders at this sale.

This year’s catalogue features 36 females (16 of them in-calf) and two bulls. Quality runs right through the entry, with 37 of the lots rated 4- or 5-star.

Every entry has been inspected ahead of the sale, with all females certified either in-calf or fit for breeding, giving buyers confidence in what they are bidding on.

A highlight of the day will be a draft of seven females from the Luddenmore herd. The draft has been two years in the making and offers buyers a rare chance to source a group of females from a top-tier herd.

Speaking ahead of the sale, committee member, Sean Cronin, said: “Our sales committee really want to thank our members, buyers and Kilmallock Mart for all their support and we want to take this opportunity to invite all breeders to our sale on Saturday 31 October.”
