I see Australia is looking to increase its dairy-beef output to 100,000 head by 2030. Now by Australian standards that’s small numbers, but it shows they mean business.
A new report out this week shows that a collaborative approach across the sector will be used to achieve the target.
They are forecast to process 9.45 million cattle this year as it is, but with access to China filled and a growing market in the UK, it shows that the Aussies are looking to squeeze an extra bit of production to take advantage of these markets.
