The sale of Glanbia House in Kilkenny has been completed. The building which was owned by Tirlán was listed for sale in February of this year, after Glanbia, that leased it from the co-op, vacated the property to concentrate Kilkenny operations at its site on the Carlow Road.
While a spokesperson for Tirlán confirmed that the sale had been completed, they did not reveal what the agreed price for the landmark building was.
Glanbia House had been guided at a price of €2.95m. The two-storey building has an internal floor area of 2,217sq m (23,864sq ft) along with 88 surface car-parking spaces on a 1.3 hectare site.
The building, which dates from the 1990s, and dates back to the days of Avonmore co-op, was substantially refurbished between 2014 and 2017.
