Agricultural community animator, Co Meath
Boyne Rivers Trust is seeking an agricultural community animator for the Water European Innovation Partnership Agriculture (EIP-Agri) project, Farming for Water EIP.
Focused in the Boycetown Catchment of the Boyne, the successful candidate will engage with farmers and encourage them to carry out sustainable practices and integrate the community into EIP-funded project outcomes.
Water quality improvements, biodiversity enhancement and climate change mitigation, targeting specific challenges in the Boycetown catchment area near Trim in Co Meath, are the key objectives of the role.
The Farming for Water EIP is an initiative led by the River Basin Management Service, in partnership with Teagasc and Dairy Industry Ireland (DII).

Keane Dairy Farm near Kilkee in Co Clare is seeking a dairy farm worker to join its team.
The farm is milking more than 200 cows on 360 acres.
The successful candidate must have at least two years’ experience milking, knowledge of calf rearing and animal health.
A salary of €36,605 is being offered for a 39-hour week.
