A rare on-farm auction of 600 hay bales is taking place on Monday 20 July in Banogue, Co Wexford, and is being handled by Quinn Property Sales.

David Quinn told the Irish Farmers Journal that there is no reserve on the hay.

He added that it is of good quality and presents an excellent opportunity for farmers contending with drought or looking to bolster winter feed supplies to get their hands on additional forage.
