REA Eoin Dillon will round off the year with a flurry of online auctions, starting in December with two prime parcels of Tipp land.
First to go under the hammer is a 63.5ac farm at Glentane, Templederry, guided at €675,000.
At the entrance to the holding is an extensive yard featuring a six-bay slatted shed with two calving pens and four straw-bedded lie-back pens, a four-bay slatted shed with cubicles and covered crush, a three-bay machinery shed and a two-bay barn with lean-to.
Other facilities include a meal silo and covered feed passage, and the parcel benefits from a private well and electricity connection.
Extending behind the yard on an incline, the parcel is laid out in a single block of good-quality land divided into several paddocks which are accessible via a central farm roadway and all workable by tractor.

Located close to the M7 and M8 motorways, the farm is 20 minutes from both Nenagh and Thurles, which offer a wide range of retail, leisure and agricultural services.
With several large dairy enterprises in the surrounding region, the holding is likely to appeal to local operators looking for a block to overwinter replacements.

While the auction date hasn’t yet been finalised, it is expected to be set for mid-December.
At 3pm on 16 December, a 40.5ac parcel further north at Drumminascart, Ballycommon, will be auctioned. Set out in three divisions of productive tillage land, the farm has successfully grown maize in recent years. Decent frontage allows good roadside access.
Situated 15 minutes from Nenagh, the farm is well-located with all key amenities in easy reach.

Guided at €600,000, it may suit neighbouring tillage farmers or livestock operators looking for an additional silage or crop-growing block.
Both auctions will take place on the BidNow.ie platform.
