A series of 15 mart events are taking place organised by Teagasc and collaborating Progressive genetics, Munster Bovine, Dovea Genetics and the Irish Farmers Journal.

An event scheduled to take place in Ballymote Mart tonight has been postponed until November.

Speaking to the Irish Farmers Journal, event organiser Tom Coll said: “Unfortunately, we had to postpone the event taking place in Ballymote Mart on 30 September. A new date for the rescheduled event will be announced, which will be taking place in mid-November.”
