It was a magnificent day for the Lisduff Angus herd at the FBD National Livestock Show in Tullamore on Sunday 9 August, as it claimed both the female and male Angus championships – before going one further to secure the overall Angus title.

Owned and run by Leo McEnroe, the Cavan-based Lisduff herd comprises red and black Angus cattle.

Doing the business on Sunday and winning the overall title was Lisduff Lady Faye Z216, which was shown alongside her promising young bull calf.
