Ploughing 2027 will take place in Rathangan, Co Kildare.
Next year's event will take place a week later than usual due to the Ryder Cup taking place in Adare Manor, Co Limerick, on 13 to 19 September.
Ploughing 2027 will instead take place from 21 to 23 September.
Anna Mae McHugh, managing director of the National Ploughing Association, confirmed on Thursday evening that the Houlihan family will host next year's event.
McHugh highlighted that Kildare also hosted the inaugural Ploughing, at Athy, in 1931.
Mark Houlihan said his family and neighbours are looking forward to welcoming the event to their farm in 12 months' time.
A total of 243,000 people attended the event this year, with 75,000 people making their way through the gates on Thursday.
